Ravinder Jain was Ex CIO and Chief Business Officer – Enterprise, AIRCEL Cellular, a leading mobile operator in India. As a CIO, he was instrumental in providing the kick-start to Aircel business by setting up state-of-art telecom technology bouquet that is nationally and internationally recognized and was awarded the “Top 100 most powerful & Influential Telecom professional across globe (65th Position) in 2011 by Global Telecom businessawarded. Ravinder was then transitioned into business role after an extremely successful stint of 4 years as a CIO for Aircel itself. He is Qualified in Computing with Management graduate from Institute of Management Technology.Prior to Aircel, he was with Vodafone, India for almost five years. Ravinder is a passionate Business – IT professional who likes to have more access to the business and does not believe to be type casted as “Technology Specialist”. He highly values customer service & innovation and believes in the power of cross functional teams. He believes in business processes and its structured execution. He also headed “Business Process Excellence” function for Vodafone, IndiaRavinder has also worked with Sabeer Bhatia, co-founder of Hotmail and was at the helm of affairs, heading India operations, for one of Sabeer Bhatia’s start-up ventures. He believes that it sharpened his business acumen and led the operations from front to turn into profitable India Centric operations.Ravinder worked with Pepsi India for over five years, where he aided the growth of business and relationships fuelled by IT systems. Ravinder started off an entrepreneurial path towards the end of 2012 and have been engaged in a healthcare venture for last few years.
